WHO WE TEACH

Timeless Teachings in a Changing World


All our teaching is based upon the foundation of a the love of the instrument, music and playing. Although our pedegogy is traditional, our approach is state of the art. The technological explosion over the past 30 years has given us a unique detailed understand and perspective in string music education. The use of electronic devices by students at an ealy age creates early eye hand development. Thus the age we introduce strings has been lowered from 4 to 3. A better understanding of how the brain is constructed and it's work centers has given us better insight into the learning process and brain development. The result of these new developments is the ability for students to make the same progress in three years which in the past took seven. 

 

We provide Education in Violin, Viola, Cello and String Bass, Music History, Music Theory, Music Composition, Restoration of Early Music Manuscripts and String Instruments. The Music is Traditional Classical repetoire, the sequence of learning is traditional, but our approach is the most current available. We address all areas of each student's musical development. We provide life skills while giving a thorough knowledge and love of mastering their instrument.
